The Norwalk cross country girls return an experienced squad for the 2024 season, bringing back five letter winners who competed in both the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet at Indianola and the State Qualifying Meet at Southeast Polk.

The Warrior girls finished fifth in the conference and sixth in the state qualifier. Current junior Pearl Brown paced the team in both races, placing 24th in the LHC and 26th at the state qualifier, narrowly missing out on a state meet berth. Norwalk’s additional returning varsity runners include seniors Maya Butler and Andie Davitt, junior Anita Scholten and sophomore Lhotse Samuelson.

The current Norwalk roster on GoBound.com includes 11 athletes. The Warriors will open the season at the DMACC Invite in Ankeny on Tuesday, August 27.
