The Pella Community School District is celebrating completion of the signature improvement from the November 2021 Bond Issue. A dedication and grand opening for the new Little Dutch Academy at the Viersen Early Learning Center will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the new facility. Director of Early Childhood Learning Sarah Kuennen says the space not only enhances preschool offerings and child care options in the district, but also allows for other needs at Madison and Lincoln Elementary. The first day of classes in the Pella Community School District for 2024-25 is on August 23rd, with preschool slated to begin in early September.
