The Indianola Downtown Main Street Board, in partnership with the City of Indianola, Indianola Chamber of Commerce, and Warren County Economic Development Corporation hosted a joint ribbon cutting ceremony and press conference Thursday, celebrating Indianola’s designation as a Main Street Iowa Community by the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
Erica Roberts and Leslie Held with the Indianola Downtown tells KNIA News this is a major milestone in a long journey and there is still a lot of hard work to come, but it is a day to celebrate.
Roberts and Held also said if anyone wants to get involved or learn more, they can contact the Indianola Downtown Merchants, and there will be a survey available next week for residents to get their voices and suggestions heard.
