The Pella Public Library’s Outdoor Adventure Series will conclude with its final program, Riding RAGBRAI, on Monday. 

Professor of Biology and Environmental Science at Central College Anya Butt decided to tackle the 444-mile RAGBRAI route in July 2006. The Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa begins each year at a town on the Missouri River and ends at the Mississippi River. In 2006, the route began in Sergeant Bluff and ended in Muscatine. During the program, Anya will share photos, preparation tips, adventures and her close encounter with a celebrity.
