The annual Peoples Bank Farewell to Summer and Cardboard Boat Races celebration is today at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Indianola. The pool closes for the summer today, with free admission during open swim followed by the Cardboard Boat Races at 4pm.

Participants can make a boat from cardboard and duct tape only, then race against others to see who will rule the pool. Find more information below.
