The Indianola girls swimming team graduated just one senior from last year in Olivia Bacon, but it will be tough to replace the multi-time state meet competitor. Bacon competed at the state meet all four years of her high school career and served as team captain last year, but leaves behind multiple state-meet qualifiers from last year for the Indians to move forward with. Chloey Hart, Guinevere McCusker, and Olivia Costigan were part of the 400 Freestyle Relay that competed at the state meet in Marshalltown last year with Bacon with the trio returning, along with contributors Faith Mahlstadt who were all top two in times for all Indianola events last year.
