The Pella Christian football team is preparing to be tested this season with five road games and four home contests on their schedule this fall.

The Eagles will open the season on August 30th against Des Moines Christian, and follow that up with their first road game in the Highway 163 rivalry against PCM. Pella Christian will wrap up non-district action against defending Class 1A champions Grundy Center, before entering district play against Pleasantville, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Sigourney-Keota, Cardinal, and Colfax-Mingo. Head coach Rich Kacmarynski knows his team will be challenged this year, but says he’s confident they will have another great season.

“We know we have work cut out for us, but I like my team. I like how hard they’re working. I think we could be very good. And so we’re just gonna take one day at a time, one week at a time and just work to keep getting better. We know we have a formidable schedule, but I’m confident that we’ll do well.”
