For the second consecutive season, the Pella Christian cross country teams enter the fall ranked among the top teams in Class 2A in the Iowa Track Coaches Association preseason rankings.

In the initial poll released on Tuesday, the Eagle boys were ranked as the #9 team in 2A, while the girls squad checks in at #15 in the class. Pella Christian’s cross country teams also were ranked in the top 15 entering last season, with the boys entering at #12 and the girls starting at #11. The #9 ranked Eagle boys are looking to make their fourth straight trip to the State Meet this October, after finishing 14th in Fort Dodge in 2023. The Pella Christian girls are hoping to get back to State this season, after taking 10th place in 2022.

The Eagles open the season on August 29th at the Marshalltown Early Bird Meet.
