Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kaylea Marchant wants to bring back the parade that coincides with the Courthouse Christmas Lighting Ceremony the Friday after Thanksgiving. 

“As we get to planning and get that pushed out, hopefully that is something we can bring back for the community”

Kaylea Marchant has been the Executive Director of the Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce since mid-May. She says her first three months on the job have been great.

“I’m loving it. I’m excited about the momentum we are building and the connections we are making. I have got an awesome board. Kayla, who is the other person in the office with me and was here prior, has a lot of awesome knowledge and we kind of instantly hit it off.” 

Kayla  Singletary is Marchant’s Administrative Assistant in the chamber office.
