The Marion County Board of Supervisors will hear a recommendation for a new county IT Director at their meeting today.

This will be a recommendation from the hiring committee that was selected a couple months ago to help fill the vacancy after the death of former IT Director Andrew Meyers. Also on the agenda is the second reading of declaring EMS an essential service in Marion County, two change orders for the Junction 92 County Maintenance Facility Shop, and discussion and possible action regarding the Pella Library.

Today’s Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting starts at 9:00 am and will be held at 3014 E Main St. in Knoxville.
