The Pella School Board had two agenda items this week discussing student mental health.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says a presentation was given by Classroom Clinic, an organization that provides enhanced therapy through telehealth that otherwise may not be available on campus.

Ebeling says the resolution was tabled, but if approved, could provide immediate assistance while the district considers having their own therapist on-site in the future.

The board did approve an agreement with Eunoia Counseling for two-to-four days a week to provide enhanced mental health services in the district.
