The Knoxville Cancer Relay is selling honor mile signs for the 2024 relay online and at Friday night’s home football game.

These signs are placed in town for the honor mile that display the name of someone that has been affected by cancer and a fundraiser for the relay team with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Jayme Braida with the Knoxville Cancer Relay says these signs are great to honor those who have fought the disease, lost their battle, or those who are still fighting.

“At the end of our relay route we have what is called the honor mile. It’s about a mile long and it is composed of over 100 signs dedicated to people who have either lost their battle with cancer, have fought, or are fighting cancer. If you would like to purchase an honor mile sign for yourself or a loved one, reach out to a cancer relay team member or check out our Facebook page. Those are purchased for a suggested donation of $10 and it will get your loved ones name on there.”

Look for the Knoxville Cancer Relay booth at the football game Friday night at Randy Wilson Track and there will be signs available for purchase there.
