The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad starts the season off tonight by traveling to Orient-Macksburg. The Saints had a frustrating season going 4-17 last season. With most of the team from last season back this year, Coach Jesyka Nolte tells KNIA Sports, she hopes her team can finish matches that they didn’t quite get last year.

Nolte: “We had a lot of close games we didn’t finish and we had a lot of girls that didn’t get a lot of time. I hope when we have those close games we get those wins and play good defense and get those games this year.”

Nolte adds the Saints have a lot of returners all over the court. Tonight’s match is set to begin at 6:30.
