Knoxville Football Users In New Era At Randy Wilson Track Tonight
A lot of things for the Knoxville Football Squad are new in 2024. New players, a new season, and most importantly, a new facility to play in. Randy Wilson Track will be the new home for the Panthers starting tonight with their season opener against Boone. The Panthers hope to not only go 1-0 on the season buit 1-0 in Randy Wilson Track. However the Panthers will be up against an experienced and big Boone squad. That is one concern for Panthers Head Coach Matt Dunkin and how his team defends the size.
Dunkin: “It’s going to be a good challenge for our guys up front with how they like to run the ball. They have a big tight end #84 and how they like to use him. But it’s going to be a big test on Friday night.”
The Panthers will also have a little revenge on their minds as Boone stole the win in the last minute last season in a 15-14 final, after Knoxville had dominated the 1st half of the game. Knoxville leads the all time series 2-1. Live coverage can be heard on 95.3 KNIA at 6:30.
