Central Women’s Soccer Team Continues Stellar Defense

Once again led by goalkeeper Zoey Sizemore grabbing four saves, the Central women’s soccer team has started out the season 2-0-0 without conceding a goal.

Despite Central only having one shot on the goal, it was enough to get past North Park 1-0. The lone shot on target came from Grace Coates, who took advantage of a miscommunication between the Vikings goalie and center back, and found herself all alone to score.

After playing two games in three days the Dutch have time to rest with their next game coming on Tuesday when they return home and battle Northwestern-St. Paul (Minn.) at 4 p.m. on the A.N. Kuyper Athletic Complex soccer field.
