A year-old news program focusing on issues of regional interest and interview topics from smaller communities in the area is moving to the weekends.

In Touch with South Central Iowa will air on Saturdays and Sundays on KNIA/KRLS. The program will continue to feature area lawmakers, state leaders, and other topics of interest in all three counties in Marion, Warren, and Jasper Counties.

The podcast will continue to update every Saturday afternoon at KNIAKRLS.com and wherever listeners get their podcasts.

The first episode airs this weekend with USS Battleship Iowa Museum President and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Williams.
