The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance is hosting a session about nearby road projects at their quarterly breakfast this month.

Bob Younie with the Iowa DOT and Brian Nail with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will discuss the potential Mile Long Bridge repair/replacement project and extended closures along Hwy 14, which could begin as soon as the spring of 2025, as well as updates on Red Rock Dam repairs. This session on Thursday, September 12th from 7 to 8:30 a.m. will cover project details, timelines, and provide an opportunity to ask questions about the impact on employees, travel, transportation of goods, shipping, commerce, and daily life in the area. Cost to attend the PACE Alliance Breakfast is $25 for non-members and $15 for members
