Led by three-time state qualifier Emma Sizemore, five Norwalk student-athletes will compete for this year’s Des Moines Lincoln girls swim team.

Sizemore has qualified for multiple state meet events the past three years while swimming for the Rails. Last year, she placed 19th in the 500 freestyle with a personal-best time of 5:22.97.

Additional Norwalk girls on the Lincoln roster include sophomores Mallory Betts, Hannah Smith and Alliyah De Oliveira, and freshman Eva Smith. De Oliveira competes in diving.

The Rails open their season today with a  home dual meet against Des Moines North at 5:30.
