The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening due to the Labor Day holiday. The council will hold a discussion and provide direction to city staff on proposed Chicken Permit Fees regarding the Urban Chicken Ordinance that was approved at the previous meeting, and view a presentation on the future of City of Indianola facilities for emergency departments, city hall, and the Indianola Public Library, called Vision 2030. The council will also consider an appointment to the Library Board of Trustees before going into closed session to discuss real estate and employee reviews. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
