For the first time in three seasons the Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad will actually play a home match. The Melcher-Dallas gym was completed last spring after a roof collapse forced the volleyball and basketball squads to play their home games at Southeast Warren. The Saints will play Mormon Trail for the first event at the new facility. Coach Jesyka Nolte says everyone on the team is looking forward to getting back to a normal routine which was missed the last three seasons.

Nolte: “We are definitely looking forward to that. It was never a routine, we’d have to grab something at Casey’s before we left, and the girls would get sleepy on the way over and that wasn’t ever good, be we would be on the bus for an hour and a half.”

Melcher-Dallas won its season opener last week over Orient-Macksburg while the other Saints are playing their season opener.
