After today there will be just one more Farmer’s Market this year on the north side of Newton’s Square. “We hold Farmer’s Markets every Tuesday June through September”
Next Tuesday September 10th will be the final Farmer’s Market in Newton this year. The time is always from 4pm. to 6pm.. It is normally on the north side of Newton’s Square. But last Tuesday, due to extreme heat, it was moved inside to Legacy Plaza. Local Attorney and Newton Chamber of Commerce member Herbert S. Selby started Newton’s Farmer’s Market in the 1980’s. The market does participate in the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
