After dropping their Little Hawkeye Conference opener Tuesday night, the Pella Christian volleyball team will look to get back in the win column in a home quadrangular tonight.
The Eagles home tournament this evening will feature two other Class 2A schools in Pleasantville and Van Buren, as well as a Class 3A team in Davis County. Pella Christian enters their home quadrangular with a 4-3 overall mark, after going 4-2 at the Skip Anderson Invitational last Saturday and falling to Class 5A #6 Indianola on Tuesday. Pleasantville has played the most games of the four teams at the Eagles home tournament, going 4-4 thus far this season. The Trojans last competed on Tuesday, falling 3-2 against ACGC. Davis County picked up their first win in three tries this year on Tuesday, defeating Chariton 3-1 to improve to 1-2 on the fall. Van Buren boasts the highest winning percentage of the schools competing on Eagle Lane tonight, holding a 3-0 mark after the WACO Tournament held on Monday, August 26th.
The Pella Christian volleyball team’s home quadrangular against Davis County, Pleasantville, and Van Buren tonight is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm.
