Four Norwalk High School girls contributed at least one top-three individual finish to the Des Moines Lincoln girls swim team’s season-opening dual win on Tuesday, September 3. The Rails defeated Des Moines North 108-66.

Top individual finishes by Norwalk swimmers included senior Emma Sizemore winning the 500-yard freestyle and taking second in the 200 freestyle. Sophomore Mallory Betts placed second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 200 individual medley. Sophomore Hannah Smith placed third in the 100 freestyle and freshman Eva Smith was third in the 50 freestyle.

Lincoln returns to the pool on Tuesday for a dual meet at Des Moines East.
