Maddie Hays converted her first penalty kick of the season, Cassie Nash and Anna Eide combined for seven points, and the Simpson College women’s soccer team avenged one of just three losses from a year ago with a 4-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Sunday.
The Storm (3-0-1) netted two goals in each half, with each pair being scored within a three minute span. Hays and Eide both registered their first goals of the season, while Nash scored her third and Ally Hoffa struck for her second.
Nash added two assists to her stat line for a total of four points. Eide, Macy Kuhns and Hailey Kowzan were all credited with assists as well as Simpson handed the Raiders (3-1-0) their first loss of the season.
