The PCM girls cross country team has moved up in the Iowa Track and Field Coaches Association Rankings.
The Mustang girls are ranked 11th which is a spot higher from where they opened the season ranked 12th. The PCM girls opened their season finishing third at the Williamsburg Raider Invitational last week with 71 team points. Junior Abi Teeter was the top finisher for PCM as she finished seventh with a time of 21:24.3. Sophomore Lila Milani was right behind Teeter finishing eighth with a time of 21:25.7. Other strong finishers for the Mustangs were Darby DeRaad who finished 14th and Bailey Wheeler who finished 20th. The Mustangs finished last season just one point short of qualifying for state at their state qualifying meet hosted by Pella Christian.
The PCM girls cross country team will be back in action on Thursday at Davis County.
