The Webb Shadle Public Library will host author Scott Prill on Saturday to share the stories behind his three novels.

Born and raised in Iowa, Prill’s novels feature the state as the backdrop for much of his work. Scott’s latest novel, Where the Corn Grows Tallest, is a tale of mystery and murder rooted in the unsolved disappearance of a relative in 1930s Iowa. Set in a small rural town, the story follows a troubled detective from Des Moines as he investigates the mysterious death of a Vietnam War veteran, uncovering long-buried secrets along the way.

The author event with Scott Prill at the Webb Shadle Public Library will take place at 10 am on Saturday. Learn more about Prill and his work here.
