The Knoxville Football Squad returns to Randy Wilson Track to host South Tama tonight. The Panthers rolled over Clarke last week in a game in which Brenden Woolsey accounted for seven touchdowns, five passing and over 300 yards through the air. This week the Panthers will face a revamped South Tama squad after losing several players to either graduation or transfer. That said, Panthers Coach Matt Dunkin is quick to point out that the Trojans, who are 0-2 on the season and lost all nine games last season, have an emphasis on running the ball.

Dunkin: “They’re wanting to run the ball and get down hill fast. They have a couple of wingbacks and want to get the ball out fast just like we don with Brenden. If we can play physically and establish our way, then we’ll be fine on Friday.”

The Panthers also had great balance in the receiving category with no player getting for more than 82 yards in receptions. Dunkin adds that it is a luxury to not have one player that teams can take away. Live coverage tonight starts at 6:30 with the kick off at 7:30 on your radio home for Knoxville sports 95.3KNIA.
