The Pleasantville football team will travel to Lynnville-Sully tonight for their last non-district game.
The Trojans are coming off a 42-30 win over Woodward-Granger last Friday where sophomore quarterback Braylon Bingham had a historical night. Bingham threw for 346 yards which broke the school record for passing yards in a game. The talented sophomore also tied the school record for passing touchdowns in a game with five which went to several different players and interceptions in a game with three. On top of that, he had four solo tackles, seven assisted tackles, 27 rushing yards, and a rushing touchdown.
The Trojans are now 1-1 on the season and will look to get above .500 tonight against a Hawks team who is 2-0 coming off a 30-22 win over North Mahaska last Friday. The Hawks lead the overall series between the two teams 5-3 in the Bound era. Kickoff tonight in Sully is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
