The possible relocation of a 30,000 gallon anhydrous ammonia tank from Sully into the County will be the subject of a public hearing at an upcoming Jasper County Board of Supervisors meeting. County Board Chairman Brandon Talsma says a public hearing is required before Sully Key Cooperative can move the tank.
“They purchased what was the Sully Truck Wash property. By State Code they have to publicize the move through us. We have to schedule the public hearing at least two weeks out to publish it and give people an opportunity to see it.”
The public hearing will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24th in the Jasper County Board of Supervisors Room at the Jasper County Courthouse in Newton
