A local festival celebrating the upcoming harvest season is returning this fall. Melinda Nunnikhoven with Nunnikhoven Farm says they are planning a day-long celebration on Saturday, October 5th in rural Harvey. The event includes music, food, and activities for all ages. She says this year, they are doing so with a cause they are calling “Share the Harvest,” in which she is working with local businesses to raise funds to buy groceries for those in need to prepare for the upcoming winter and holiday season.
