The Pella City Council will have further discussion and receive updates about upcoming city facility projects at their meeting this evening. During a policy and planning work session, City Administrator Mike Nardini will provide details about ongoing work to eventually renovate the Pella Community Center, Pella Memorial Building, and the recently-acquired building at 215 Main Street. During the same session, council will further discuss, but take no action, regarding a partnership agreement with Central College for pickleball courts. During regular business, the council will hold public hearings for zoning ordinance changes along 218th Place and at 906 Independence Street. Resolutions are on the agenda to approve a final plat for the Proverbs 13:22 addition and the preliminary plat for Prairie Ridge West, and the second reading of ordinances for tax increment financing at the Epcon Residential Urban Renewal Area and to update parking rates in the Molengracht are also up for consideration. The Pella City Council meeting begins at 6:00 this evening in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
