The Pleasantville football team is finding success in the passing game in their 2024 season.

The Trojans are currently tied for third in Class 1A for passing touchdowns with eight, fourth in passing yards with 739, and fourth in receiving yards and third in receiving touchdowns. The success comes in part from strong quarterback play from sophomore Braylon Bingham who has thrown for eight touchdowns and 739 yards and rushed for four touchdowns with 132 yards through three games. Bingham has been diverse in where he distributes the football as he has thrown TD passes to five different receivers.

The Trojans are 2-1 this season and are coming off a win over Lynnville-Sully on Friday. Pleasantville will host Pella Christian on Friday night in their first game of district play.
