The PCM football team will travel to Jesup tonight for their first district game.

The Mustangs went 3-0 in non-district play and are coming off a commanding 30-7 win over Nevada last Friday who was ranked in Class 3A. PCM defeated the J-Hawks easily last season at home 50-7. It will be a similar experienced quarterback battle tonight as PCM senior Gavin Van Gorp has thrown for 290 yards with four touchdowns and has rushed for 151 yards and seven touchdowns through the first three games while Jesup senior quarterback Ryan Treptow has thrown for 366 yards and six touchdowns and has rushed for 276 yards and three touchdowns. PCM does have the advantage with the run game as senior Adrien Robbins has rushed for 522 yards and six touchdowns this season.

Jesup is 2-1 on the season and is coming off a loss to Hudson last Friday. Tonight’s game in Jesup will kickoff at 7:00 pm.
