The Knoxville Volleyball Squad will head to what might be its toughest weekend tournament of the season at Waukee. The class 4A #14 Panthers will face several ranked teams including class 5A #3 Ankeny, Class 4A #8 Norwalk, along with Des Moines Roosevelt in pool play. Other schools in attendance besides the host school, who is 8th in class 5A, are 5A #6 Indianola, Carlisle and 4A #9 Sergeant Bluff-Luton. Panthers Coach Mollie Keitges tells KNIA/KRLS no matter the outcome today, she wants to see some intangibles and competitive fire from her girls.

Keitges: “I want to see them compete and darn it we’re going to beat these big dogs that people think we can’t compete with. That’s what I want to see some of the intangibles this weekend.”
