The #1 ranked PCM football team defeated Jesup 55-7 on the road Friday night in the opening round of district play.

The Mustangs started off strong after their long road trip up north and never looked back as they won in commanding fashion to move to 4-0 on the season. PCM continues to fire on all cylinders both offensive and defensively as they continue to prove why they are one of the premier teams in the state. Coach Greg Bonnett wants to see his team continue to get better each week.

“I told them tonight we have lofty goals. We want to do some major things, but the thing we have to understand is the teams that do those great things that we want to do, they don’t go out there and stumble. They take it play by play and they just keep getting better and better because they’re focused on themselves and nobody else. I think our guys really bought into that tonight and it showed.”

PCM improves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the district. The Mustangs will take on Union next week for homecoming.
