The Pella Christian volleyball team collected their second tournament championship of the season on Saturday, going 4-0 and winning the North Mahaska Invitational.

The Eagles earned sweeps in all four matches they played in the tournament, opening up with a 21-13, 21-18 decision over HLV. Pella Christian then swept PCM 21-17, 21-14, before picking up a 25-11, 25-15 victory over Little Hawkeye Conference foe Newton. In the championship match, the Eagles squared off with the host Warhawks, and won 25-14, 25-11 to claim first place. Pella Christian previously won their home invitational back on September 5th, sweeping all three of their matches in that tournament as well. Brynn Roozeboom and Addie Van Arendonk led the Eagles offense with 23 and 22 kills respectively, while Chloe Huisman dished out 64 assists throughout the tournament. Defensively, Addison Bandstra provided eight blocks on the day, while Rachel Kacmarynski and Huisman added six blocks apiece. Faith Kacmarynski added 25 digs throughout the four matches, while Isla Blommers posted a team-high seven aces.

Pella Christian improved to 15-6 overall and will look to get back to a .500 record in the Little Hawkeye Conference at home against Oskaloosa on Tuesday.
