The Class 2A #11 Pella Christian boys cross country team won their second consecutive meet at the PCM Invitational Monday, while the 2A #13 ranked girls took second place.

The Eagle boys posted a team score of 34 at the Gateway Recreation Golf Course in Monroe, besting the second place hosts by 28 points. Sawyer Meinders was the individual champion at the PCM Invitational for the second straight year, taking first place in a time of 17:39.7. Deacon Branderhorst added a top-five finish in the meet, claiming third place in 18:18.2. Joel Pogany (18:53.4) and Will Vanden Bosch (18:55.9) secured top ten finishes by taking ninth and tenth respectively, while Griffin Stoltz (19:01.7), Logan Gallaher (19:06.0), and Eli Hoksbergen (19:09.5) were just outside the top ten in 11th, 12th, and 13th.

The Pella Christian girls recorded a team score of 66 in the meet, finishing just 23 points back of the Class 2A #7 host Mustangs. Bailey Vos and Hayley Rens led the way for the Eagles in the girls race, with Vos finishing as the runner up in 20:45.7 and Rens taking third in 21:13.1. Julia Shmalcs (23:03.8) was the third Pella Christian runner across the finish line in 18th, followed by Maisy Meinders (23:41.3) in 24th. Keilah Schiebout (24:00.1), Sophia Slagter (24:42.2), and Chloe Vos (24:49.2) rounded out the girls lineup in 28th, 31st, and 32nd places respectively.
