The Pleasantville volleyball team swept Madrid on the road Tuesday night in a West Central Conference matchup as senior Emily Roe hit the 1,000 dig mark for her career.
The Trojans dominated the Tigers in three sets, winning set one 25-8, set two 25-9, and set three 25-12. Lily Mason had an impressive night for Pleasantville recording 13 kills, 11 assists and she went 9/10 from the service line. Faith Nelson also put together an impressive performance picking up nine kills, 17 assists, and she went 14/15 from the service line. It was also a historic night to remember for senior libero Emily Roe who added another accomplishment to her impressive volleyball career by surpassing 1,000 career digs. Last season Roe broke the school record for digs in a season and earlier this season she broke the school record for career digs.
Roe and the Trojans improve to 14-8 overall and will be back in action on Saturday for a home triangular.
