While it hasn’t even quite felt like autumn across south central Iowa, several Pella-based organizations are preparing for the upcoming holiday season.

Executive Director of the PACE Alliance Karen Eischen says they are preparing for carriage rides, hot cocoa, and other weekly programs during the weeks leading up to Christmas. It all starts with the Pella Tour of Stores on Monday, November 25th, which includes the annual tree lighting on the Tulip Toren.

Visit Pella is gearing up for Kerstmarkt and the annual Tour of Homes from December 5th through the 7th. Executive Director Ann Frost says the Dutch Christmas Market will once again feature a wide range of vendors.

Tickets will go on sale for the Christmas Tour of Homes on October 1st. They can be purchased online at visitpella.com/christmas, in-person at the Visit Pella Office (915 Broadway Street), or at Pella Hometown Variety, Pella Historical Museums, The Sanctuary, and Thistles.
