A multi-vehicle accident took place on the downtown Indianola square Friday afternoon. A maroon Lexus traveling northbound on N Howard St struck a gold Nissan traveling eastbound on W Ashland Ave at the four-way stop intersection of the northeast corner of the square. Traffic was delayed for under an hour, with the Indianola Police Department and Warren County Sheriff’s Office responding. No injuries were reported. An investigation of the accident is underway.
