The Indianola Community is invited to Buxton Park in early October to harvest the flowers and foliage before winter. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News City Horticulturalist Angie Buchanan will be at Buxton Park on October 5th to help those who want to take home flowers or brush at the park before the beds are cleaned out. Kester says those attending will need to bring hand shears or pruners and a container with water to hold the blooms, and recommends gloves as well. The event will be October 5th at 10am.
