Monroe residents can get rid of some unwanted items next week, by placing them on their curb. The City is sponsoring a Fall Clean-Up Day on Wednesday, October 2nd. Items two people can lift will be picked up with some exceptions. Those include, but are not limited to: electronic material, household hazardous waste, tires, fluorescent bulbs, automotive batteries, and construction materials. Monroe residents need to have allowable items curbside by 6 a.m. this coming Wednesday. For more information about Monroe’s Fall Clean-Up Day visit midwestsanitation.com
