The Knoxville Public Library is holding a book sale starting October 17th.

This will be a three day sale that will be from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on the 17th and 18th and 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday the 19th. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says this sale coincides with Friends of the Library Week.

“Sometime during that week it is Friends of the Library Week and we really appreciate our Friends of the Library. We try to have a book sale around that week. It’s usually books that have been donated to the library or books that have been weeded out of our collection and it is a freewill offering. All of the proceeds will go back to the library.”

The Knoxville Public Library is located at 213 E Montgomery St.
