Looking to bounce back from a loss Tuesday night, the Class 2A #11 Pella Christian volleyball will compete in Grand View Christian’s Faith Quad in Ankeny on Saturday.

The Eagles will open the tournament against Class 1A #1 Ankeny Christian Academy in the morning, before taking on the host Thunder and Waterloo Christian in the afternoon. Pella Christian enters Saturday’s tournament off of Tuesday’s loss to Class 4A #8 Norwalk, which ended a ten game winning streak. Ankeny Christian currently holds a 22-4 overall record on the season and have won their last 11 matches. Grand View Christian has struggled this season, compiling a 5-15 record this fall and dropping five of their last six games. The Regents of Waterloo Christian are 7-12 on the season, after going 2-4 in their six matches a week ago.

Pella Christian opens their tournament action at Faith Baptist Bible College against Ankeny Christian at 10 am. The Eagles will then square off with Grand View Christian at noon, before wrapping up their tournament with Waterloo Christian at 1 pm.
