Pella Regional Health Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation. The accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards. 

Pella Regional underwent an onsite review earlier this year as the team of surveyors visited the hospital, clinics, Comfort House and home health services. The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help healthcare organizations measure, assess, and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
