The Indianola boys cross country team finished in sixth place after again being short handed on Saturday at Wartburg. The Indians were led by Reed Robbins who had a dazzling 7th place finish with a 15:43, while Sam Appel was 28th and Paxton Bloom 32nd. The Indians continue to try and peak for the end of season competitions, and will have a state meet preview on Thursday at Fort Dodge.

Indianola Volleyball Competes at Urbandale

The #5 in class 5A Indianola volleyball team went 4-1 at the Urbandale Invitational on Saturday. The Indians swept Dallas Center-Grimes 2-0, Johnston 2-0, and North Polk 2-0, and defeating ADM 2-1 before falling to #1 Ankeny Centennial 2-0. The Indians are now 25-4 on the season, and will next host Pella on Tuesday with a chance to win the Little Hawkeye Conference title at 7pm.
