The Indianola boys golf team made a run to the top three Monday at their district qualifying meet at Willow Creek Golf Course, shooting a 301 and earning a spot at the state meet. The Indians were led by a 73 from Gio Richardson to place 5th, Tyler Santi was just a shot behind with a 74 in 8th place, while Jackson Buchanan was just one more shot behind to card a 75, and Hayden Stockberger rounded out the scoring with a 79. State golf is at Briarwood Golf Course in Ankeny, and takes place over two days on October 14th and 15th.
