The annual Indianola Public Safety Open House is Thursday. The event spreads awareness of fire safety tips during Fire Prevention week and offers a chance to meet public safety personnel from Indianola and Warren County. Indianola Fire Department Captain Aaron Hurt tells KNIA News the event is in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, and activities include a fire safety trailer to learn about how to escape from a fire safely, a fire extinguisher demonstration, and a drone demonstration among others. The Indianola Noon Lions will be on location grilling hot dogs and providing food for the event. The open house will be Thursday, October 10th at 5:30pm.
