The Pella Christian football team will look to bounce back from their second district loss of the season last week tonight, as they head southeast to Eldon to take on the Cardinal Comets.

The Eagles fell to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in district play last week with a 42-21 loss to Sigourney Keota, while Cardinal dropped to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in the district with a 54-26 loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Despite the Comets’ struggles this season, Pella Christian head coach Rich Kacmarynski says his team isn’t taking this game lightly.

“All week long, we’ve been focusing on what we need to do to be successful and that’s going to continue to be our focus. Right now the only game that matters is this one tonight, so I think our guys have been focused and I’m excited about that.”
