The PCM football team defeated West Marshall on the road 49-7 Friday night to remain undefeated.

The #1 Mustangs got on the board early in the game and never looked back against the #8 ranked Trojans. PCM’s offense was a well oiled machine like they have been all season and defensively they were able to hold their familiar foe West Marshall to just one score. With the Mustangs still undefeated at 7-0 and a matchup against a 2-5 Iowa Falls-Alden team next week in their last regular season game, Coach Greg Bonnett says his team need to not get complacent and he wants to see them continue to improve.

“We need to focus on ourselves and try to get each individual on the team and coaches to get better as the days go on. We’re starting from a pretty good point, and I feel we’re pretty good and I think our players feel like we’re pretty good, but at the same time you can’t let complacency creep in. That’s the worst thing you can ever do, is to sit back and feel satisfied with where you’re at because that’s when you get beat and there is no doubt about that.”

With Friday’s win the Mustangs locked up the number one seed in their district.
